You are always reading insights about you as well as what’s up with people and causes that we wholeheartedly support. But time to time people ask about who I am and how I feel about a lot of things that they have to deal with in their own lives. We will make changes to the photos and pictures every few months, so you will have bits and pieces about my take on me and what I value or what I know not to be true for me. I hope you enjoy the open door to me and my character.

The Signs of the Time–It has been my character and consciousness to refer to Sagittarius as “God’s Sign” because Sagittarius is the sign in the 9th House of Philosophy and Religion. Among other things, hence I refer to it as the cradle of the Creator. Interesting this year the Moon is in Sagittarius on its first Solar Month Reign, which intensifies what Sag has come to mean to all of us. Yes, we are all mortal and we dread the dead day that will eventually come to all of us but in a new book I highly recommend, Realizing God by Swami Prabhananda, you may come to view life and death differently. It takes you through the cool clear waters of redemption. It is my ‘go-to” reading until I am finished.
The aforementioned New Moon at 00 degrees of Sagittarius on November 22 conjuncts Venus. This portends for a powerful consciousness and spiritual transformation for these Archers. Other Fire Signs and Air Signs will benefit as well.
There will be a Full Moon on December 6 at 14 degrees of Gemini. This will allow the Cosmic Twins to examine who they are and where they are in their lives. In the end, letting go and letting God will take them where Fear never could. Remember that Moons deal with emotional responses, and these oftentimes tend to lead us down blind alleys or to make a not level-headed answer to gut-churning.
For those of you wedded to the Gregorian calendar and not Celestial Influences, you probably always thought Christmas or the Holiday Season was in the Sagittarius part of the Zodiac. Nope. We will be 5 days into Capricorn Cycle when Christmas or the Holiday dawns.
Jupiter, the natural ruling planet of Sagittarius, will go retrograde on December 9 at 22 degrees of Leo. What this means to all signs, particularly to Sags and other Fire Signs, Leo and Aries, is that you will have a lot of blind luck for a few months. Jupiter will go direct in motion on April 8, 2015 at 12 degrees of Leo. Don’t forget that the influences of the Lunar Eclipse Full Moon at 15 degrees of Aries on October 8 and the Solar Eclipse New Moon at 00 degrees of Scorpio on October are in effect until the next eclipses on March 20 and April 4, 2015.
I am wont to mettle in other people’s think tanks and emotional bodies because that’s what folks pay me for. If I could stir the fudge for all of you as we near the end of another year, I would like to urge you to dabble less in more, more, more and set your sights on cleaning out your closets.
Greed is apparent with the big pieces of stuff “legends in their own minds” who buy a lot of cars and houses and throw their crushed souls around like the Emperor’s Clothing–but no matter where we sit on the sliding scale of economics we need to divest ourselves of all that gets in the way of an honest inventory.
I am in the confessional box all the time (I recommend you find someone with whom to do the same), and here are the sins I have had to share. I once was swallowed up by credit card debt. Thanks to someone who worked in the Sedona Intensive I am debt-free today. Besides a couple of adorable 4-year-old twin sisters I do not quid pro quo with extravagant gifts or trips or other indulgences. I was at the heart doctor this past week and I hit Target Zones in all my numbers. My cholesterol fell from 228 to 118. I have been off sugar almost two months, and I feel less anxious and have dropped 8 pounds.
What are the results from confessing and letting God change our lives? We are girdled with fear. We do not trust nor have faith in a Power Greater than ourselves to help us make our lives better. May I remind newcomers to this column that God is going to take his world back from the clutches of the narcissistic egomaniacs? Earth is but an illusion, maya. Play by its rules and you’ll have to return with a heavier load to bear.

Fire Signs
ARIES (March 20 – April 18)–Get a head start on Thanksgiving and do a little penance this month. See who could use what you’ve got (mainly, enough do-re-mi to give a little away to the needy) and stop thinking only about yourself. The caveats for you this month: 1) don’t buy anything that costs more than a loaf of bread or a meal at a diner; 2) let everyone else speak and you listen for a good idea that will benefit everyone, especially you; 3) get out of the fast lane–don’t drive fast, talk too much or offer advice until someone asks. These are all notions to make the Sagittarian Solar Cycle better for you this year.
LEO (July 22 – August 21)–It was about time that we here at this tiny influence column let you have a dose of what Leos are all about–since Jupiter is in your sign for almost another year (albeit, Jupiter will go retrograde on December 9–sorry!). You are game-players–if it isn’t tail gating at a football game or sitting with Mark Cuban on the floor at a basketball game or preening and being pampered in the game of life, you are hosting a dinner to see who loves to sit at table with you. Your insights this month are a game changer. Since Thanksgiving is a day or two away, help out in a soup kitchen, take food to those shut-in or those hungry, and keep your ego in check and make it all about anyone but you.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 20)–For those of you who are focused and lasered to having God’s will be done in your life by your compliance, this is going to be a Valhalla kind of month–heaven on earth. Every door that you face will not magically open. Some are meant to stay closed. Every face that you meet will not put you into ecstasy; perhaps you were meant to nod and pass them by. And not every request do you need to sign up for and pay the piper. All of these are mere words to get you to your soul center where peace and contentment live.
Earth Signs
TAURUS (April 19 – May 19)–With the aspects in the sky not so cozy and friendly to you this month, why don’t you have an early Winter Spring cleaning? Try it on and if it doesn’t fit take it to the good will or have a garage sale. The proceeds can go to feed the poor this Thanksgiving. Find someone who is alone this year and invite them for turkey and pumpkin pie. The Full Moon in Taurus last month should have made you more sensitive to the needs of others and not so much intensity around your finances and food addictions.
VIRGO (August 22 – September 21)–The Marian the Librarian or Joe Plumber in you is going to get to step away from the way the world has always perceived you. With everything changing faster than the speed of light, why not make room for an extreme make-over for you Virgos? For those of you looking to change the things you can, it may involve more schooling or at least honing some skills. Moving across country for a new work opportunity is not always running away from but moving toward a dream you’ve had for a long time. The squares you’re getting from both New and Full Moon this Sagittarian Solar Cycle may be the impetus to pack your bags and make the move.
CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 18)–If you are paying attention to the world at large you must recognize the stupidity of trend setters. Most of us are caught up in needing to be a part of the latest widget. You, Goat of the Zodiac, know that whatever is worth its salt takes time to mature and longer to be useful to us all. A wizard once told me that it takes 29 years for a human being to put away his toys and join the grown-up world. That sentence was created by Saturn, your ruler, who says that what it is all about is becoming aware through personal experience. This month will be one of softer lessons.
Air Signs
GEMINI (May 20 – June 20)–We probably woke you up with the early news in the introduction to this column today. A Full Moon is a great time to examine where you are in all areas of your life and change the things you can. The problem with an air-head sign like Gemini is that all things seem to be free-range chickens scratching and clucking for any crumb of a notion to be disturbed over. This is not a time to fret and worry but to turn it all over to the God of your understanding, or misunderstanding. The truth be told, the God shot is happening all around you. Learn to tell the difference between fear and faith. The nice thing about you is that you will always find a friend or business associate to run an idea by before committing to action. (Psst. Try to stop letting random ideas play tricks on you!)
LIBRA (September 22 – October 22)–As long as you remember that Uranus in Aries is opposing you for awhile longer, and Pluto in Capricorn is squaring you for many more years, you can get some power momentum when Mars moves into Aquarius for most of the month. However, your ruling planet Venus will be in Capricorn from the 11th of December until the Sun moves into Capricorn on December 20th. On second thought, tend to your own business, do not stir the hornet’s nest and let other folks look after what’s on their to-do list. Get out meditation tapes and try to find that peace and quiet within your own inner sanctum.
AQUARIUS (January 19 – February 17)–Date your high energy this month from December 6 when Mars goes into Aquarius. Mars represents high energy but oftentimes anger and out-of-bounds egocentric behavior. You and Sagittarius are natural pals in the celestial sky, so make a get-it-done time and it will be profitable for all concerned. Never forget that you Water Bearers are about care and concern for all Mankind. You are the Super Conscience of the world. If you have kids, they are lucky because no sign is better for self-expression. Watch your mouth and don’t let it get into overload.
Water Signs
CANCER (June 21 – July 21)–We don’t convince you Crabs enough that your emotions are out to overwhelm you half the time. Now and for a few years, Pluto in Capricorn has been opposing you. Here is your insight if you can embrace it. There are some gargantuan issues that are all about all of us and not just about you and the control you are trying to exert over your household and those who work with or under you. If you ever get out of yourself you are going to begin to see that your perennials are not growing in your garden. They are like weeds choking you to death. Let go and let God lead and you will love where He/She/It takes you.
SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)–Early news for you Scorpios: Saturn will leave your sign on Christmas Eve, although that is in next months’ Newsletter. Also, Mars is going to square you for much of this Solar Cycle, so it is best to teach those who want to listen and let the others go wherever without engaging you. It’ll be another couple of months, but when Saturn leaves your sign soon for good–at least for the next 30 years–you can celebrate all that you’ve learned, which you might not have without the pain that went along with the syllabus. A group I joined eons ago says that “pain is the touchstone of growth.” That has been your mantra for two and one half years. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
PISCES (February 18 – March 19)–“Fairy tales can come true, it can happen to you, if you’re young at heart.” So goes the lyrics of “Young at Heart.” The only problem with fairies and tales is that with your ruler Neptune in Pisces you may have a tendency to make something up from whole cloth or exaggerate beyond belief. Keep your head in the clouds but your feet on the ground. Your compassion runs high this month. Continue to ask others, “What can I do for you,” but don’t give away something you don’t have. There is a huge surprise for you Fishes around December 15 that will thrill you. Mazal tov.

What Our Clients Are Saying About The Sedona Intensive
“The Sedona Intensive was a life changing experience for me. I had been searching for happiness and serenity for over 20 years and as a result of the Intensive I found that I was looking in all the wrong places. I not only experienced what happiness and serenity truly are but now understand the process needed to maintain and enhance that state of being. It doesn’t mean that I don’t experience the ups and downs of life but what it does mean is that those downs do not even come close to impacting me the way they used to. There is now a presence of mind that provides clarity and purpose that did not exist for me prior to the Intensive.
It is impossible to put a value on such a quality of life enhancing experience that the Sedona Intensive provides the person willing to do the work.It is by far the most significant thing I have done in my 62 years.
I came across a quote last week that summed up what I experienced and learned while attending the Sedona Intensive – ‘Once you stop clinging and let things be, you’ll be free’ -Bodhidharma (440ce – 528 ce), the Zen Teaching of Bodhidharma: A Bilingual Edition.”
