The Signs of the Time — Thank God from whom all blessings flow that Mercury went direct two days ago. Now we may see some sense and sensibility and return to normalcy. Although there are a lot of naysayers, sooner than later things will return to a more ordered Universe. From my way of looking at things, it seems as if Covid-19 was more about inequity in the world. Minorities have been treated less than the rich and famous who seem to run the world to their benefit. In 10 years or less, minorities will be the majority in the United States of America.
There are no retrograde planets until April 28, 2021. That means that all systems are set on the “go” button. The vaccines to thwart Covid-19 will be more plentiful and even Dr. Fauci will begin to talk about the end of this horrible pandemic. Not only in the health department but prevaricators and deceivers will begin to be exposed. Don’t look for any Valhalla or Paradise on Earth. As those of color become more prominent in numbers the privileged whites will begin to decrease in power and authority. True equality is around the corner.
The best investment that I have ever made…
“I met Albert in late 1991 when my life was a mess and I did not know what to do. I went for an astrology reading reluctantly and at the end of it agreed to do the Sedona Intensive. I was in Sedona January 5-12 of 1992 and did my daily exercises and then continued with the program for 3 months upon returning home. By following Albert’s directions, even when some of it made no logical sense, my life was changed dramatically for the better over the next year. He put me on a path that I never could have imagined and I will be forever grateful for that. This eventually led to my current profession, beginning in 2005, as a life coach assisting clients in making big changes in their lives. The time and money spent with Albert all those years ago is the best investment that I have ever made and gave me insights and tools that I still use today.”

Monthly Insights for the Signs
Fire Signs
ARIES (March 20 – April 19)–Venus, Jupiter and Saturn will be in a positive position to you Rams while they are in Aquarius. Your ruling planet Uranus will be in Taurus until March 5 so that does you little good. Blocks in astrology are always opportunities to change the things you can and are always ideas and actions that you need to view differently. If the world had been assigned metaphysics and astrology instead of Bible School we would all have learned more truths about ourselves.
LEO (July 22 – August 22)–Nobody can exude optimism under the worst times quite like a lion or lioness. A Leo wrote the line “Laugh and the world laughs with you; cry and you cry alone.” We are reminded to tell you Leos this month that life is about learning lessons and changing the things you can—yourself. So much of life on planet Earth is about Money and Fame. I have met a lot of unhappy rich and famous people. Keep learning your lessons and let the rest of the world go bye-bye.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 20)–With Sun, Mercury and Venus in the fiery Sign of Aries, you must be feeling that the world owes you big time. Don’t let your ego stand in the way of having the good time that these aspects promise for Sags. Your ruling Planet Jupiter is in Aquarius, another perfectly positive sign for you. Since generosity is your middle name see who in this upside-down world needs a little of your moola. You are in for a great ride this month but don’t forget to share your bounty with others.
Earth Signs
TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)–With Mars in Taurus for most of this Solar Cycle you will begin to feel like the proverbial cat on that hot tin roof. Mars moves faster than the speed of light and yet you Bulls prefer steady and even outcomes. Be extra careful with where and how you spend your money. Considering where the world has been the last fifteen months or longer, overshadowed by the deadly Pandemic you would have done better to sit on what you’ve got.
VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)–It seems that this is the time of year when you Mercury-ruled Virgos can pick up the pen and write yourselves out of a dark and dangerous place. Mercury is in Pisces and Aries this Solar Cycle so don’t play the Lottery or try to ask for a raise or change jobs. Stay put. Start writing the great American novel or start a charity to benefit those who have less and need help most. Your ability to stay put and thrive is still innate within you.
CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 19)–A wise-old minion of Astrology once told us students that Capricorn was the Sign of Sages and Septuagenarians because they had to check everything several lifetimes before it became a rule of thumb for them. Maybe that’s why some of us refer to Saturn-ruled Capricorn as the genius of the Zodiac. And all of us are seeing the aftermath of all the shenanigans we have been involved in for many months: corona virus and a political landscape that would scare saints. All the planets in Capricorn are bearing fruits of our poor choices of the past.
Air Signs
GEMINI (May 21 – June 20)–Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn in airy Aquarius work in your favor this Solar Cycle. How, you ask? First off, Aquarius is a fixed Air Sign and Gemini is mutable. Aquarius has a hard line to follow and it usually finds a way to care and help. Gemini oftentimes waffles with suggestions. For those of you Twins determined to turn a corner with your money, this is the time. And never forget to ask another, “What can I do to help you?”
LIBRA (September 23 – October 22)–With Jupiter and Saturn in compatible Aquarius this Solar Cycle as well as the Moon in Gemini you can roll the dice and expect winning numbers. However, your ruling planet Venus will be in Aries all month so don’t go too far out on Shirley MacLaine’s limb. I tell everyone who will listen that a lot of what is in alignment with you is oftentimes a false note or worse, a trickster god. Pay attention and love who you are and be grateful for what you don’t have as much as what you do.
AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 17)–With all the planets in Aquarius this Solar Cycle we must begin to see an ending of Covid-19 as well as wealth being in the hands of the few instead of the many. Venus, Jupiter and Saturn in the Sign of the Water Bearer starts off the Pisces Cycle this time of year and then Venus moves into Pisces for several weeks. What you Aquarians can look forward to is somewhat of a New World Order that benefits all people and not just the elites. Remember, the Higher Power is no respecter of anyone—He, She, It loves us all the same.
Water Signs
CANCER (June 21 – July 21)–May we remind you that the fortitude you show under trying times is to be found at your deep and abiding Soul Level. You are a Cardinal Water Sign which means that so much of your life is hog tied to your emotional wells. Since the USA is a Cancer nation you must sense how off-kilter everything has been for a long time. It has been the Hatfields against the McCoys and neither side won in the end. Best days for you are February 18, 19; February 23, 24; February 27, 28, March 1; March 3, 4; March 12, 13; March 16-18.
SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)–Since Pluto is your ruling Planet and the Sun is in Pisces for the next 31 days, twist and shout and stop letting gnats and bitches and biters get to your Soul Level. The directors from the Upper World keep telling us that it is Scorpio’s time to shine and share what those who gather around you need the most. But most of all don’t be petty or argue with others when you are sure to lose. Tend to what God has given you and let others and their things just be.
PISCES (February 18 – March 19)–With the Fishes ruling planet still in Pisces there will continue to be both empowerment as well as the effects of the weak side of the sign: drinking, overspending, confusing self-deception with reality among the moment-to-moment life challenges. But what will always be available to the Fishes is vivid imagination, artistic genius and building the better mousetrap. And most of all Venus will be in Pisces through0ut this Solar Cycle.
How My Journey Began
“I have been receiving the Sedona Intensive Newsletter for many years. I was inspired by the astrological information. I never really delve into what programs were offered. I thought it was a spa in the painted desert where you could spend a week to relax and rejuvenate. I remember when I first subscribed to the newsletter, I had mentioned it to my husband and said maybe when we have some time, we could look into going there for a vacation. Little did I know what was in store for me on that Tuesday morning in December 2020 when I decided to dial the phone number listed on the newsletter to find out what the program was about and whether it would benefit me.
“Quite honestly, I was surprised when Mr. Albert Gaulden answered the phone! Surely this man has a receptionist, I thought to myself. But it was him. I, nervous – I almost hung up. Here I was talking to the man of Sedona! I was a bit intimidated at first, but after our first session, he truly put me at ease. I told him my recent story about the loss of my husband and the way I had soothed the pain of grief through alcohol. As we talked, I knew I needed to be part of this program. Albert is a straight forward, no bullshit kind of man. You either like what he has to say or you don’t. And if you don’t, he’ll tell you to go pound sand! But in a not so nice way. Albert is so passionate about the work he does and takes a true interest in each client. The homework is brutal but I have learned so much about myself and why I have experienced everything I’ve been through in my life and how it brought me to where I am today.
“One must have an open mind and be willing to hear the tough talk. There was tough talk. There was difficult self-reflection. But this program is not for sissies. You’re either going to commit – or you’re not. And if you don’t commit – this is not the program for you. It is an emotional experience with a great deal of self-reflection. This program didn’t just guide me through understanding my alcohol addiction, but it has been more beneficial in helping me deal with the overwhelming grief I have experienced over the last 2 years after the death of my husband. I am whole again.”

I Talked to the Cassandra of the Internet Age
New York Times opinion by Charlie Warzel
The internet rewired our brains. He predicted it would.
Michael Goldhaber is the internet prophet you’ve never heard of. Here’s a short list of things he saw coming: the complete dominance of the internet, increased shamelessness in politics, terrorists co-opting social media, the rise of reality television, personal websites, oversharing, personal essay, fandoms and online influencer culture — along with the near destruction of our ability to focus.
Most of this came to him in the mid-1980s, when Mr. Goldhaber, a former theoretical physicist, had a revelation. He was obsessed at the time with what he felt was an information glut — that there was simply more access to news, opinion and forms of entertainment than one could handle. His epiphany was this: One of the most finite resources in the world is human attention. To describe its scarcity, he latched onto what was then an obscure term, coined by a psychologist, Herbert A. Simon: “the attention economy.”
These days, the term is a catch-all for the internet and the broader landscape of information and entertainment. Advertising is part of the attention economy. So are journalism and politics and the streaming business and all the social media platforms. But for Mr. Goldhaber, the term was a bit less theoretical: Every single action we take — calling our grandparents, cleaning up the kitchen or, today, scrolling through our phones — is a transaction. We are taking what precious little attention we have and diverting it toward something. This is a zero-sum proposition, he realized. When you pay attention to one thing, you ignore something else…

Moments and Windstorms: Take Back Your Power
This ground-breaking book offers an in-depth journey through the author’s eye-opening addiction to alcohol and how he eventually got sober. Gaulden has written a number of books as well as being Founding Director of the Sedona Intensive, one of the country’s most highly regarded alternative personal growth programs.
The author shares all the ways God was leading and guiding him even when he was still drinking. “Most of us look at false paradigms to measure success in our lives. So much of where I went and the jobs I took helped me remember what I was to do as my life’s work.”
Gaulden’s book is divided into five parts. Each section explores different parts of his journey, incorporating all the places he’s been, the studies he’s made and the people he’s met. His point of view is that each client who sought his help made him a better person. At the end of the book, he has some daunting but hopeful words about the conditions of the planet Earth and what we need to do to survive as a race.

What Our Clients Are Saying About The Sedona Intensive
“The Sedona Intensive was a life changing experience for me. I had been searching for happiness and serenity for over 20 years and as a result of the Intensive I found that I was looking in all the wrong places. I not only experienced what happiness and serenity truly are but now understand the process needed to maintain and enhance that state of being. It doesn’t mean that I don’t experience the ups and downs of life but what it does mean is that those downs do not even come close to impacting me the way they used to. There is now a presence of mind that provides clarity and purpose that did not exist for me prior to the Intensive.
It is impossible to put a value on such a quality of life enhancing experience that the Sedona Intensive provides the person willing to do the work.It is by far the most significant thing I have done in my 62 years.
I came across a quote last week that summed up what I experienced and learned while attending the Sedona Intensive – ‘Once you stop clinging and let things be, you’ll be free’ -Bodhidharma (440ce – 528 ce), the Zen Teaching of Bodhidharma: A Bilingual Edition.”
