You are always reading insights about you as well as what’s up with people and causes that we wholeheartedly support. But time to time people ask about who I am and how I feel about a lot of things that they have to deal with in their own lives. We will make changes to the photos and pictures every few months, so you will have bits and pieces about my take on me and what I value or what I know not to be true for me. I hope you enjoy the open door to me and my character. — Albert Gaulden

leave behind us, footprints on the sands of time.”

The Signs of the Time–A lot of people have been asking me to comment on the Presidential Election, who won and who lost and why. Look to yourself for that answer. Presidents govern they do not rule. 47% of us did not vote. Maybe it’s time to give them an “I Did Not Vote” stick-on label so you know who to blame. Sorry, Kabbalah instructs us to get out of the Blame Game.
For my two-cent’s worth all of us created the world we live in. We are all responsible. Spend less, save more. Find the God within that can nurture you not necessarily in churches. I have written a new book which identities culprits of misinformation and manipulations and control as in the worlds of politics and religion.
Mercury went direct on January 8 at 29 degrees of Sagittarius. All planets are direct in motion until February 6 when Jupiter goes retrograde at 23 degrees of Libra.
Jupiter Retrograde –All the positive influences of Jupiter are diminished. Some of the planets more negative influences are heightened– instead of luck and fortune, Librans can have the tendency to use poor judgment and take risks out of greed. They can be restless and unhappy with what they have; impatient to wait for opportunities. Librans may also have the tendency to be wasteful and overindulge in things. When it comes to spirituality or morality, they can get too rigid and unyielding, missing the forest for the trees. Instead of abundance, the focus is on loss.
When Jupiter retrogrades, it’s not a good time for new endeavors; rather, it’s a time to reflect and reconsider undertakings you’ve already begun in areas influenced by the planet. It’s time to slow down and think about what you’ve been doing, and where that course is taking you. If changes are necessary, now is the time to make them. In particular, it’s a time to re-evaluate your finances. New risks are unwise at this point, but staying the course may not be the best action either. Do your research and take time to listen to your own intuition.
There is a New Moon on January 26 at 08 degrees of Aquarius, which bodes well for all Aquarians as well as other Air Signs, Gemini and Libras. New Moons are opportunities to start something new or to rehab or retool something that needs some repair. It is also the time to start a new job, buy or sell a house and make a fresh start in all areas of your life.
There is a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon on February 10 at 22 degrees of Leo. Like any full moon, a lunar eclipse focuses your attention on relationships of all kinds. The Sun opposite Moon qualities of emotions and instincts reach their peak during a Lunar Eclipse. This lets you take an objective and balanced look at your close personal relationships. Being in touch with your own needs and intentions, and those of others, you can clearly see any relationship imbalances causing disharmony.
With a Lunar Eclipse in particular, the blotting out of the Moon represents a resetting of emotions, clearing away the emotional baggage of the previous six months. The horoscope for a Lunar Eclipse is like a snapshot in time, but like old style photography, it takes time to develop.
The February Lunar Eclipse marks the end of an eclipse phase which began with the challenging September 2016 solar and lunar eclipse. Together with the February 26 Solar Eclipse, this February 10 lunar eclipse will remain active until the August 2017 lunar eclipse.
Fire Signs
ARIES (March 19 – April 18)–There is a lot of good news for you this month. Your planetary ruler, Mars goes into Aries on January 27. There is a New Moon in Aquarius that day as well which benefits you Rams. Mars will move through Aries until March 9. With a trine from Saturn as well you might be able to hear a lot of yeses during this fertile time. Forewarned is forearmed, however. On March 4th Venus goes retrograde in Aries until April. Venus retrograde spells iffy news for all financial matters. Otherwise you are on a roll. Jupiter in Libra opposing you beginning February 6 could undermine your best intentions. A wise man would suggest it’s a good time for a personal and financial review.
LEO (July 22 – August 21)–On February 10 there is a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon at 22 degrees of Leo. The Lunar Eclipse asks you to disengage with stagnant emotions that you have never processed through. The go-to tendency for Lions and Lionesses is to preen and roar with or without favorable transits. You are long overdue to comb through the unsafe place you keep unresolved issues with a lover or those with whom you work. The best way to deal with these festering feelings is to find someone you trust and let go of everything that has been coming up again and again and gain–deal to heal. What you look the other way rather than solve will only keep regurgitating endlessly.
SAGITTARIUS (November 21 – December 20)–Your life takes a turn for the better around February 4. Mars and Venus will be transiting Aries as well as a Lunar Eclipse February 10 at 22 degrees of Leo. Saturn in Sagittarius is still trying to retool and refine you. Many of us refer to Sagittarius as the House of the Creator. Everything that you do is designed to make you saner, smarter and more discerning in all areas of your life. You are known to roam and are the devil-may-care sign in the Zodiac. Interpreted in a higher, more conscious way you have been searching for the true meaning of life. As Paolo Coelho’s book The Alchemist teaches, “What you seek is in your own backyard.”
Earth Signs
TAURUS (April 19 – May 19)–In the lofty celestial room with a view on high the only ally you have this Solar Cycle is Pluto in Capricorn. With the New Moon in Aquarius on January 26 and the Lunar Eclipse Full Moon at 22 degrees of Leo on February 10 you may want to do a lot of exercising and excising of potential losses. Journaling and meditating are in the cards for you as well. Don’t go too far out on a limb because you are the least risky of all the signs. Best you wait until personal planets go into Pisces on February 18. Always know that when Venus is in Aries, it is not your time to roll the dice. Pull in and practice a yoga position or a new way to let go of all toxicity.
VIRGO (August 22 – September 21)–Part of the Solar Cycle your ruling planet Mercury will be in Capricorn, another Earth Sign. On February 7 the Messenger god goes into Aquarius–not so compatible for you Virgos. Venus will be in Pisces opposing you. There is always Pluto in Capricorn massaging your sense of purpose. The downside of a Virgo is the she or he is always a busy bee–and the mind never relaxes. Your antidote for these mental preoccupations is to join a yoga class. Get out your meditation tapes and use them. It is also helpful to keep a daily journal. Your day will come just when you think all is lost.
CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 18)–Mercury will be in Capricorn until February 7. Those are power days for you Goats. Then Venus and Mars are going to muddy the waters for you when they both move into Aries. Mars moves into the Sign of the Ram on January 27 where he will stay until March 9. Venus will enter Aries on February 3, retrogrades at 13 degrees of Aries and goes direct on April 15 at 27 degrees of Pisces and will not leave Aries until June 6. Never ignore Pluto at 18-19 degrees of Aries, which will also cause Capricorn trouble. Dare I mention Jupiter in 23 degrees of Libra will go retrograde on February 6 and will go direct in motion on June 9 at 13 degrees of Libra?
Air Signs
GEMINI (May 20 – June 19)–You can bet your life this is a great Solar Cycle for you Twins. The New Moon in Aquarius on January 26 will lift your boat and put you in a perfect place to win the race. The Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Leo on February 10 will help get you to where you need to go. Venus and Mars in Aries from the 3rd of February will complete the celestial Trifecta. Sometimes everything aligns in the sky to make your life as good as it can get. Always remember that anything that blesses your life can soon be replaced by challenges and difficulties. For now, roll in clover while it lasts. Say yes to all the good stuff coming your way.
LIBRA (September 22 – October 20)–Beginning February 3 Venus goes into Aries opposing Libra, and then goes retrograde on March 4 until April 15. Because of the retrograde, Venus, after a three-week run in Pisces, continues to oppose Libra until June 5. Think that’s all the iffy news? Think again. Jupiter goes retrograde in Libra from February 6 until June 9. For those with Jupiter in Gemini or Aquarius in their natal charts, there will be an easier steering around these difficult aspects. Take heart when I tell you that some people have their greatest successes in the most difficult transits. The good thing about Libra is that he or she is never down and out for good.
AQUARIUS (January 19 – February 17)–I have long been intrigued by the claim, attributed to Socrates, that the ‘unexamined life is not worth living’. Socrates may have been a bit harsh in his tone but the times in which we are now living begs the Water Bearers to take an inventory and change the things they can–themselves. Rather than throw stones at perceived people or institutions that you fear are the source of your discontent, self-examination will produce more fruitful results. That is what a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon is asking of you: purge what is useless in your life and cleave to what is most important to your spiritual growth.
Water Signs
CANCER (June 20 – July 21)–Every two and a half days the Moon moves from one sign into another. The Crab is the only sign in the Zodiac who must face a different reality and imposed challenge so often because the Upper World chose this path for you. Hence your emotional rollercoaster has so many ups and downs that your core has little chance for you to settle into one personality or life goal. Your overview will always be to empathize without being infected with every nuance of the sign to which you move. The expectations for you this Solar Cycle are going to be particularly beyond your grasp. Take notes to learn how to motor through sign-to-sign each month.
SCORPIO (October 21 – November 20)–You are no longer waiting in the wings to go on and stand stage center. The only reason you are as antsy as you are is because you are too attached to the unreality of the earth as it devolves today. You have been a dutiful follower and have earned the right to lead those who want to follow you. Scorpios scare a lot of people because of your innate sense of knowing what others don’t. Your warning for the month is to continue to detach from others: what they think of you, how they may defy you and what they don’t know that you do. By March you will be clicking your heels like Dorothy on her way to Oz–because you will travel to wherever God leads you.
PISCES (February 18 – March 19)–Venus in Pisces this Solar Cycle does not mean you Fishes can gamble to win at this time. Rather the Universe is letting you know that you might remain watchful for who might need your wise counsel. We are now beginning an overview to see who has become selfish and perhaps greedy. Check in with yourself and make sure it isn’t you. Time to time we get letters and inquiries asking about finances and when the gods of plenty will shine upon them. It is more important to love every day as if it were your last, asking God how you can be of service to others.

What Our Clients Are Saying About The Sedona Intensive
“The Sedona Intensive was a life changing experience for me. I had been searching for happiness and serenity for over 20 years and as a result of the Intensive I found that I was looking in all the wrong places. I not only experienced what happiness and serenity truly are but now understand the process needed to maintain and enhance that state of being. It doesn’t mean that I don’t experience the ups and downs of life but what it does mean is that those downs do not even come close to impacting me the way they used to. There is now a presence of mind that provides clarity and purpose that did not exist for me prior to the Intensive.
It is impossible to put a value on such a quality of life enhancing experience that the Sedona Intensive provides the person willing to do the work.It is by far the most significant thing I have done in my 62 years.
I came across a quote last week that summed up what I experienced and learned while attending the Sedona Intensive – ‘Once you stop clinging and let things be, you’ll be free’ -Bodhidharma (440ce – 528 ce), the Zen Teaching of Bodhidharma: A Bilingual Edition.”
