But time to time people ask about who I am and how I feel about a lot of things that they have to deal with in their own lives. We will make changes to the photos and pictures every few months, so you will have bits and pieces about my take on me and what I value or what I know not to be true for me. The Signs of the Time–This is the time of the year when we take a financial inventory to see what is causing the black hole in our money bucket. Venus, Taurus’ ruling planet, will move into Taurus which will make the Bulls feel like there is a God and He/She/It blesses them.

There is a Full Moon at 2 degrees of Scorpio on April 21. Anytime there is a lunation opposing your Sun Sign like this one, it would behoove you to go over your financial outlay and see where to stop the waste. Did you ever consider saving more than you spend? What a concept. It is also a grand time to make amends to anyone that is owed one.

Did you ever hear about Mercury retrograde? Did you know it promises to be a 3-week period of confusion and indecisiveness? It is never a good time to buy or sell anything under this aspect. It applies to anything mechanical like a computer, a cell phone–your car–plumbing or wiring of any sort. Well, mi amici, Mercury goes retrograde on April 29 at 23 degrees of Taurus.  It goes direct on May 23. Stop your whining. It’s only three weeks.

There is a New Moon at 16 degrees of Taurus on Friday, May 6th. New Moons mean new starts in life, refurbishing your marriage, stop eating ice cream all night long or buy a new mattress to make your night time more comfortable. Now that I have the attention, the high side of Taurus is loyalty and stability. The cross to bear is that most Bulls will eat anything that won’t eat them. I never met a Taurus who would not eat desserts before and after a fatty meal. This is a wake-up call for abstinence in all areas of your life. Remember, we all have Taurus somewhere in our personal Zodiac.

Did you ever think the world could get any crazier? For those of us who know we live life after life after life, there have been cataclysmic times throughout Earth time. Did you ever wonder what is was like to be a Jew wandering for years without a home? The Black Death, or Bubonic Plague, in the 14th century killed 75 million people. And closer in time to us, what could have been any more inhumane and devastating than the Holocaust where millions of people were slaughtered. The only sacred suggestion I have for those of you enraged over politics or religion this year, turn your will and your life and anger and rage over to the God of your own Understanding and tend to your own business.

Fire Signs

ARIES (March 19 – April 18)–Mars and Saturn in Sagittarius and Uranus in Aries are working together to make sure you are not so headstrong when you try to rebuild your portfolio. Mars is your ruler and in the fire sign Sagittarius which stimulates your better balanced instincts. What’s really happening to you Rams is that it is beginning to dawn on you that money can’t buy peace of mind. Money is a commodity that determines what kind of crib you can afford and what your open-to-buy parameters look like. But if you are looking to get your ticket to the Upper World punched, you had best understand that there and here are two entirely different places. It’s time to take a course in Higher Consciousness.

LEO (July 22 – August 21)–I never met a Leo yet who can’t fake and cover-up all the pain he or she feels when the transits start kicking you around. This is not your best time of the year. Yes, it is true that Uranus in Aries is trining you as well as Mars and Saturn in Sagittarius. The kickers and drags this month for you are both the Sun and Venus in Taurus. The Full Moon in Scorpio will dampen your frivolous spirit. The New Moon in Taurus will also throw up a road block to your brilliant ideas. It would settle you down for the duration if you would pray and meditate and put your thoughts on paper. Get out in nature and feel the true worth of being alive and well.

SAGITTARIUS (November 21 – December 20)–Did anyone ever suggest that you ‘surrender to win’ in order to restore sanity and sensibility into your life? Well, now you have. Mars and Saturn are in Sagittarius but retrograde for awhile. That means you are getting a break, a respite from the hard overload of change. Your ruler Jupiter lingers in Virgo, refining your innate nature to run without a roadmap and to swallow too much cockamamie notions to make sense even to yourself. It is a given that so many of us mistake the purpose of movement of the planets as folly. Astrology is not some cosmic nonsense but rather a commission to get on the road less traveled as the brilliant writer Dr. Scott Peck advised us to do. My granny used to say, “If something is worth doing, you better do it right.”

Earth Signs

TAURUS (April 19 – May 19)–This is a mixed bag for you Bulls this Solar Cycle. The Full Moon at 2 degrees of Scorpio on April 21 will be the time to check your financial bottom line and see where you stand with saving versus spending. The New Moon at 16 degrees of Taurus on Friday the 6th of May will put you on very solid ground. The caution is to stop eating ice cream every day after a fatty entree. With your ruling planet, Venus, in Taurus from April 29 throughout the Solar Cycle, you should be feeling like you are God’s favorite. Don’t delude yourself. Not one soul is more precious to God than each of us.

VIRGO (August 22 – September 21)–Everybody has been assigned a duty to clear away static interference from the planet. Your job, if you accept it, is to do all things with the notion that you are fortunate to be a key player in the clean-up brigade. Beginning May 1 Venus in Taurus will be in favor with Virgos. Your delight and joy will be overflowing and your usual nature of carp and complain won’t be anywhere near your door. We would like to give you Cardinal Rule 2445 from the Upper World where God lives: Always express delight with the hand that life dealt you. This is your signature impression that you are here to redeem past deeds.

CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 18)–The Overlords are not able to take away the nature of you Saturn-ruled Goats. But some Solar Cycles are more conducive to your well-being than others. The Full Moon in Scorpio on April 21 will bless you with psychic flashes into the work you are doing. The New Moon in Taurus on the 6th of May has a blowback affect that can make your journey this month lighter, softer and gentler. However, since Pluto will be in Capricorn until November 2024 you have a lot of Upper World assignments to complete. The nice touch to your sign is that none other can resolve themselves to the tasks assigned and put nose to the grindstone and persevere quite like you Goats.

Air Signs

GEMINI (May 20 – June 19)–Three days into your time of the year, Mercury will go direct. But as you probably remember it takes several days for the full benefit of Mercury to take hold. But your luck from the Stars is boosted majorly with Venus in Gemini from May 24 until June 18. This means if you are in sales, you’ll close more than usual. If in Finance, the Market will bless you. Most of all you will connect with others as positively as only a Gemini can. You still have the challenge from Mars and Saturn in Sagittarius. These two powerful planets will cause less damage as they are both retrograde for awhile longer. Count your blessings.

LIBRA (September 22 – October 21)–No sign struggles quite like the Venus-ruled Scales of Justice. But you have been gifted with the Wisdom of Solomon. So where’s the rub? Transcendent Intelligence radiates from the pipeline of the Upper World. Transcendent smarts only emerge when the Libran separates itself from the confusion and self-serve of those trapped in the pleasure chest of the Ego. This commitment requires a purification of the pop culture and self-seeking of modern times. Read Chrysalis Effect: The Metamorphosis of Global Culture by Philip Slater and you’ll begin to grasp the how and when of your Manifest Destiny.

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 17)–Your clear and conscious gateway is preparing us all for the next big shift in supra awareness. Your kindness and compassion are universal attributes that label the nature of you Water Bearers. No sign is more universal and compassionate as you are. None of us soothsayers are able to pinpoint exactly what this way cometh except it is akin to a message that we are all brothers and sisters and we must begin to nurture the nature of global harmony. Aquarians are not just born they are selected to bring back to earth the sermon that we are all the same and entitled to enjoy God’s Grace and Bounty. Begin to look up close into the eyes of newcomers into your life. They have been ordained for the meeting with you.

Water Signs

CANCER (June 20 – July 21)–No one but a sage or astro-psychologist can possibly know the frustrations you encounter every two and a half days when the Moon moves into a different sign. Many times denial benefits the Crab because above all you do not want others to know intimate details about you; that is your nature of secrecy. Though having outed you Cancers today let me hasten to tell you that with the Full Moon in Scorpio and the New Moon in Taurus this Solar Cycle you will be in Seventh Heaven (if there were such a thing) because both Full and New Moon jive with your character. May I share with you that what lies at the bottom of all earthly discomfort is the dark and dangerous Ego within us all? Enjoy this month.

SCORPIO (October 22 – November 20)–You Masters of the Zodiac (or lowly blood-sucking rulers of the Underworld) have a great month ahead. The Full Moon at 2 degrees of Scorpio on April 21 will give you further indication whether you serve the Upper World or, you know, the self-serving Oracles of Darkness. And the New Moon at 16 degrees of Taurus on May 6th will reveal the brilliance of balancing your innate mysticism with feet-on-the-ground revelation. If you were into tinker toys as a child, the sextile from Pluto, your ruler, in indomitable Capricorn is a revelation of the rebuilding you are undergoing to embrace what you came back to Earth to do. Om. Tat. Sat. Om.

PISCES (February 18 – March 18)–There have been so many planets in Pisces lately that you may have taken a big bite of grandiosity. You must always be reminded that with your ruling planet, Neptune in Pisces you must remain grounded and humbled without overeating or addicted to praise. Both the Full Moon in Scorpio and the New Moon in Taurus is going to usher in renewed interest in the importance of sound, particularly orchestration and opera. Your intuitive powers will be as well-honed as ever and you will invent or create something new and beneficial to the world at large. Did you ever hear of Verdi or Puccini? Composers who change the world one note at a time when their music is played. And you will too if you know what you see when you look and what you hear when you listen.
