The Sun entered Aquarius on January 19th. This month is the time for Water Bearers to rise and shine. At the same time, Jupiter enters into Pisces.

The Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Cancer on December 31 and the Solar Eclipse New Moon in Capricorn on January 15 signaled an ending to things that have ceased to work or had served their purpose for the sign of Cancer especially, and Capricorn, Aries and Libra generally. The Solar Eclipse points toward new starts and fresh opportunities for Capricorn specifically as well as 'start your engines, ladies and gentlemen' for Cancer, Aries and Libras. These are cardinal signs and they ask that all blatant egocentric behavior that oftentimes fosters greed, selfishness and receiving for the self alone be transmuted into qualities that believe in service leadership and going to any lengths to eliminate gross misappropriation of your God-given gifts.

Mercury went direct on January 15th so it is now safe and secure to revamp and retool and sell an idea, a property or an asset without the confusion of Mercury retrograde. Go back and review anything that you tried to do under Mercury retrograde and take another stab at it.

There is a Full Moon at 10 degrees of Leo on January 30th. This aspect indicates that things have come full bloom for Leos; something hidden now manifests. This indirectly affects Aquarius, Taurus and Scorpio. And if you have been naughty since the last Full Moon you may now be held accountable for things you said or did that may have harmed others.

There is a New Moon at 25 degrees of Aquarius on February 13 which a new life and a better direction for you Water Bearers. If you have been looking to change directions in your career, pull out all stops at this time. Leos will also have what needs attention staring you in the face. A bit of askew awaits Taurus and Scorpios.

Mars and Saturn are still retrograde in Leo and Libra, respectively. Trouble for Leos and better partnerships for Libras.

FIRE SIGNS

ARIES (March 21 – April 20) The Messenger of Immortality is beating his tom-tom announcing the reformed and redeemed Ram. Your time has come to provide things honest in the sight of all men and women. Now that your sleight of hand has been retired for all times, it is comforting to know that you will be making money the old fashioned way: an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. Oh, and a day at a time.

LEO (July 22 – August 22) Mars will be in Leo until March 11th so watch out for speed bumps and school zones. Mars can make you irritable and discontent so renew your commitment to prayer and meditation with a little yoga on the side. We know you like to shine--that the world is your stage--but monitor your words and pay attention to how you deliver them. You need all the friends you can get at this time.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 20) Nobody pays much attention to you until you make too much noise for anyone else to enjoy how free you have been feeling. There is something to be said for running ideas by someone detached from your compulsive obsessive behavior. If you still have an open mind take an honest inventory with a trusted advisor. In February much of the mania passes.

EARTH SIGNS

TAURUS (April 21 – May 20) These eclipses have been blessing Taurus as much as you can stand. Known to be steadfast and sure-footed, you Bulls are about to recover what was lost and find what was hidden. Keep your yapper shut and let your still small voice of intuition take you where fear couldn't. And when your ship comes in have a big festival and share the bounty.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22) Now that you are through with Saturn for 30 more years or so, wrap yourself in the soft cashmere of those Lunar and Solar Eclipses, both of which are announcing the new and better you. You have just come out of a two and a half year period of an extreme psychological and emotional makeover. Throw on your glad rags and take all the invitations to dance that come your way.

CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 19) If any sign of the zodiac has more of an opportunity to flourish at this time than you do, I want to see the astrological proof. Bring in the safety inspector and then the appraiser. It is time to sell out and move on. You will have no better time to lay a firmer foundation for your new project than now. Don't worry about financing; deep-pocket partners are lining up to help you.

AIR SIGNS

GEMINI (May 21 – June 20) You have so many trines from other air signs: Saturn in Libra, Venus and Neptune in Aquarius that you could make your great ideas pay off. We are definitely in a more harmonious planetary cycle at this time so let your imagination run wild. If you have been thinking of saving more than you spend, your dividends will help you start a new trend in your life: financial security.

LIBRA (September 23 – October 23) Saturn is exalted in Libra, which you find it hard to believe after the way the stars and planets have been treating you. Since we live in a parallel universe, the outer limits are making you pick better business partners and lovers. Since you are known to be fair and balanced, take the message from the zodiac to help make you better in all ways.

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 17) Don't wait for the New Moon in Aquarius on February 13 to pick your lucky four leaf clover. Begin now to make the most of celestial fortunes smiling on you. Many consider you eccentric but we think you have some notions that can make us all better. Begin now to lay tracks for what your dream weaver is whispering in your ear.

WATER SIGNS 

CANCER (June 21 – July 21) The Lunar and Solar Eclipses were letting you know that it's time to make some big changes in your nurturing and nesting instincts. If you have been doing more than your share for everyone else, call in your markers. You are spent and dry from meeting the needs of others. Take care of you and if others won't help, so be it; you make you first in all matters in your life for a while.

SCORPIO (October 24 – November 21) If you've found that your painted into a corner, step gingerly through the mess and clean up behind you. Your internal world is so profound and sometimes taxing that you forget not to say everything that's on your mind. The next few weeks will make you think you are living in a warm and fuzzy Valhalla. All will be better after the 21st of this month.

PISCES (February 19 – March 20) With all the positive forces gathering in your corner you may begin to channel Cecil B. DeMille and film The Greatest Story Ever Told--your own version of reality and how to make it so appealing. We are entering the waiting room of the most dazzling times of all eternity with Pisces cast as the drum major. Strut your stuff.
