Astrology for Virgo 2009



	Greetings Friends! Enjoy the Virgo Astrology Newsletter for 2009. All planetary movement is necessary in order for all of us to learn our lessons but I can say with all honesty that I am happy to have survived the last three eclipses—and most of you have reported that July and early August was very trying for you to say the least. There is a New Moon at 27 degrees of Leo on August 20th which should find all fires signs, Leo, Sagittarius and Aries—as well as air signs—Gemini, Libra and Aquarius in high cotton. Start something new and watch it succeed with a lot of hard work and uber benefits from the Stars! There will be a Full Moon at 12 degrees of Pisces on September 4th which indicates endings of a sort for Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio, as well as Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. When it rains it pours—on the just and the unjust—which will be exactly what Mercury going Retrograde will do at 6 degrees of Libra on September 7th. Be cautious about signing documents, buying or selling property or beginning anything new around the time of the retrograde. And don’t forget that anything mechanical, from computers to automobiles can go on the fritz. Forewarned is forearmed. If you’re traveling, give yourself extra time as there is always the possibilities of more than usual delays and snafus. There is a New Moon at 24 degrees of Virgo on September 18th—new beginnings for Virgo, Taurus and Capricorn as well as favorability for Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio. An early notice for Virgo, Saturn will move into Libra on October 12. Your huge learning curves are over but just beginning for Libra. Pluto will go direct in motion beginning September 12, which means that those of you born from December 21st to the 23rd will have major reconstruction in your homes, your careers and the way you perceive reality versus what is ultimate truth. 			FIRE SIGNS
			ARIES (March 20 – April 19) I’d lose a dollar or more every time I bet against an Aries and then he or she’d make a complete comeback. Remember those old Perils of Pauline movies where she was tied to the railroad tracks and there was a train barreling down the tracks to do her in? That is exactly where Aries have been for a long time, and now come the Stars to the rescue. Under the New Moon in Leo on August 20th you lucky devils are going to be able to plot your return to lush clover. As I always warn you Mars-ruled types: don’t forget to tithe. LEO (July 22 – August 22) I never saw a Leo who did not enjoy being the center of attention, even those of you who have to be coaxed to prance. You can read Aries in this month’s Astrology Column as well to see that your luck is changing, although you still have to get more than a little insight from those in the know whether to buy stocks or bonds, flip rehab houses or where to invest for the long haul. But one thing is sure: the worm has turned for you Leos, so have the time of your life. Now that summer is almost over, pay closer attention to Mercury retrograde on September 7th—real crucial for Leo. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 20) If you ever saw Last Tango in Paris you are about to know that they have just announced Last Call and you are still stepping on toes. What you need is a major overhaul and a new syllabus for what life has been throwing at you lately. Put the plug in the jug, throw away the weed and concentrate on what matters most. This is the best time of your life to change horses and even a better time to change partners. There is a move from job and home territory on the horizon.

			EARTH SIGNS
			TAURUS (April 20 – May 20) Everything seems to be going your way once again, but it won’t always compute to all the money you think you need or hording perishable goods. You need to tend to personal relationships with more of an open mind. Taurus sometimes is too sensitive and touchy to be able to have a decent discussion with those closest to them. My suggestion is to ask the other person how they feel about a matter rather than trying to read their mind. No sign in the Zodiac is as hardheaded and irresolute quite like you. Now is as good a time to change as any. VIRGO (August 23 – September 22) Hellzapoppin’ for you Virgos this month. Not only are you about to be free of Saturn, you have a New Moon on September 18th that will let you see if all the hard work plus letting go of unattractive and troublesome tics and tantric nonsense has made a difference. I would kill the fatted calf and throw yourself a party, if you still have friends left after struggling with Saturn, the Lord of Karma for two and a half years. CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 19) We wanted to give you heads-up and a 30-day warning that when Saturn slithers into Capricorn on October 12 it is going to square your Sun Sign and transiting Pluto sitting like the Foo Bird on top of your head. Wear your mental armor and clear away a space in the corner of your favorite room to look at what you’ve got left. Until you do, review your blueprints and your liquidity because you are going to have to depend more on you than ever before.

			AIR SIGNS
			GEMINI (May 21 – June 20) As you look forward to that super Trine from Saturn in Libra when it moves into your sign October 12, always remember that Saturn brings responsibility—like a new wife (or husband) or a new life somewhere other than where you live now. Change is good and that is your middle name—if anyone in the Zodiac is a thrill seeker it is you Mercury-ruled Celestial Twins. You are on a roll, so make the best of it. The reason you are in the driver’s seat now is that you deserve who is riding shotgun. LIBRA (September 23 – October 22) As a way to prepare for the entry of Saturn into your sign on October 12, you may want to review all relationships personal and on the outer fringes because Saturn is about to test you for more than two years in that department. If your business partnership is on rocky ground, it will tumble to the ground during this Saturn transit. If it is a marriage partner or lover who is teeter-tottering, you may find yourself alone and having to love it. Saturn is the one planet that asks everything of you and gives little help. AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 17) Gosh darn, if you aren’t living in the best of worlds and also caught between a rock and a hard place. Neptune in your Sun Sign is causing you all sorts of deception and delusion—do you or don’t you take that new job and settle in with your new squeeze or give him or her the brush off? And then again, Jupiter is going to be expanding and throwing bouquets at you at the same time. You can’t lose. Right? Maybe. Maybe not. Chiron is in the grouping and that can spell a big time learning curve. Advice: the caution flag is out.

			WATER SIGNS
			CANCER (June 21 – July 21) You have put up with so much abuse through the years that it is about time you have the sextile from Saturn in Virgo, the trine from the Full Moon in Pisces on September 4th and the sextile from the New Moon in Virgo on September 18th. I am throwing all this astro jargon at you to reinforce that if you want to rehab the house, go for it. And if you want to sell it and move, better yet. And without begging, you are going to find that the ingrates in the family are going to start treating you better—and it ain’t even Mother’s Day. SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21) Since you operate better under dim lights and sotto voce, you may have to wear sunglasses and adjust your hearing aid because everything is coming at you full speed this Solar Cycle with little chance of keeping any of it a secret. When you don’t like something or someone, the world will know it. The best news is that when it is time for you to say ‘ta-ta’ to a friend or family member, you will do it with grace and never look back. It is your turn and your time, so hunker down and get on with it. PISCES (February 18 – March 19) Saturn is still causing you trouble from across the Zodiac and Uranus is still living in your Sun Sign. The good news is that a Pisces can always dream his troubles away until the bank takes the furniture and the house he forgot to make payments on. The real bright spot in your palm is that you have been under siege for more than two and a half years from Saturn in Virgo, and as my friend Darrell Mae (she was a Pisces aussi) used to say, “Even a monkey learns,” and she always used that line on us Pisces.
